Introduction: My name is John Maselli. I live on Iong Island near Spadaro 'International Airport' in East Moriches. I started building my plane in October, 2000. I ordered the rudder kit and was hooked.
Actually Istarted a year earlier by investigating possible kit options (not seriously) but when I saw the Zenair at the back of a kitplane magazine I was intrigued by it and the idea grew on me. It took me a year to order the rudder kit after that. Once the rudder was complete I ordered the rest of the tail kit. I had that done by January and was going to order the flaps and slats but things came up and I was delayed.
Finally a year later in October 2001, I ordered the flaps and slats. Which I am currently in the process of finishing. I am going to try to recount my building experiences up to this date on this site and continue from there. My next kit section will be the wings which I will order this coming week. November 26th, 2001.
